## Our Team
- [West Hutchison](https://www.verticalcold.com/our-team/west-hutchison/): A 25+ year industry veteran, West Hutchison leads the strategic vision for Vertical Cold Storage and oversees all operations. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Network Optimization/M&A for Lineage Logistics, he supported dozens of transactions across the globe. Before that, West was a Partner and Global COO for Emergent Cold. West also spent 20 years at Americold Logistics, serving in senior leadership roles for transportation, warehouse operations, business development, customer service, and IT.
- [Robert Bascom](https://www.verticalcold.com/our-team/robert-bascom/): Robert joined Vertical Cold as COO in December 2022 and he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business. He began his cold storage career with Christian Salvesen in April 1996 as a forklift operator on the swing shift. He spent nearly seven years at VersaCold Logistics and was Vice President of Operations for Eastern Canada. Robert also served as Regional Vice President of Operations for Americold. Robert excels at establishing effective teams that embrace a continuous improvement culture.
